Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

no difference in mine as well, I'm happy with it.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I recently installed a RSS under drive pulley, and while I didn't notice much if any improvement, (engine seems to rev more freely) I hadn't drove it in a few weeks prior to installation so I couldn't do a back to back comparison, or waste the $$ for a dyno pull. One item the people seem to take issue was it would cause engine to not cool as well as stock pulley. Well my experience in 100+ heat 90+ % humidity with standing traffic and A/C on, my needle didn't budge for at least one hour of drive time and included in that was 25 minutes of star /stopping in congested traffic on interstate of 1.5 miles. I was worried but I kept an eye for movement of temp gauge. Nothing

I'm in Australia and have a Cargraphic under drive pulley - have never noticed an issues. I'm in Australia - it gets hot here

POST 3Original post

POST 4Original post

200 mile drive this weekend in central florida. No issues at all. I have the torque pro app and while cruising my temps are always between 185 and 200. Stuck in stop and go and it may creep to 205 but thats rare.

POST 5Original post

have an under drive pulley on a Boxster S (out of topic, ..but close to same engine as a 996 !) and all great too on the "daily running" ways. ..But, before having it, I did blow my original steering pump, since having it, no steering pump problem anymore !! Ok, I should add, my car has close to 2,0000 track miles. I would say, this is a must if you track a car with a 996 engine (or drive it often in a "spirited" mode, i.e. quite high rpm often.)

POST 6Original post

Over 4 years with mine, still is great, no issues
