I've seen entire tops on ebay for less than $1000. Of course, finding the right paint match could be challenging.

What does the dealer want for the parts? except for the defroster unit it doesn't look that special.. Cut the glass and install!

I looked into buying one with broken glass a while back. A buddy owns an auto glass place and said the only place he could source the glass was Porsche and it was crazy $$$.

I see tops for sale all the time for $500.00...Buy one cheap and swap the glass if the color is wrong. They all seam to be black or silver.

I would just put a piece of laminated DOT glass in and forget the defroster circuit unless you really need it.. its the defroster lines that add the money.

That one in Dallas seems iike a good buy if the paint is in good shape. $550 for the top, sling and windstop? I would be all over that if I was closer. You can sell the windstop for $250 to $300 to help lower cost.
