Suggestion · Original poster

I'm now wondering if there is a lumbar support that is adjustable perhaps by an air bladder that may be available. The small pillow we now use works but is so unsightly.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I love our 2002 996 Cab, however my wife is short and finds that the seat does not fit her well and longer trips causes her back pain. Today while putting some leather treatment on the seats I noticed that the insert in the seat back is attached on the bottom and top and is loose in the center. I'm thinking that I might be able to custom fill that space to give her the lumbar support she needs. I'm now wondering if there is a lumbar support that is adjustable perhaps by an air bladder that may be available. The small pillow we now use works but is so unsightly. Does any one have any thoughts on the issue?

POST 2Original post

I use a folded small towel for lumbar support, yes under the seat cushion. You can lift it and slide something behind and is becomes invisible.
