Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks all this is very helpful. I am wondering if I should hunt these parts down (and probably pay an arm and a leg for them) or if I should try to sand and repaint myself. Does anyone have any experience matching interior paint colors or doing something like this? Its a 2000 C4 Cab by the way, sorry for leaving that off before.

It would be nice to be able to do that, my 2000 cab with grey interior is wearing patches off like that as well

POST 8Original post

Perhaps check with bumperplugs.com for repaint.

POST 9Original post

I have used SEM plastic paint with good results. It is a very rewarding job, and costs much less than replacement parts which will only scratch again. They will match colors as well.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well Ive got another part I cannot find for you all! Thanks for your help. Its amazing what the people on this forum can find online. I am looking for the trim that would go over the grey bar in this photo. I used to be light wood like the other areas, but I am fine with the standard black trim as well. Thanks!
