Couldn't find any notes with the car on that so I thought maybe he had replaced the rear bumper cover and it was from a car with Park Assist.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

These two wires were back in behind the coolant reservoir. Not connected to anything I can find (both appear to have been cut off). They were tie-wrapped together (shown on left), the loose ends are at the bottom of pic. 2004 C2 Cab. Everything seems to work so what am I missing?

POST 2Original post

I just recently changed my coolant tank. I did not have wires in that location; those do not look factory.

POST 3Original post

Have you traced the other end? Not on mine either and I pulled my motor.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

One wire runs above the engine, shown in pic. The other runs into the left rear fender and then forward. Can't trace them any further. Mystery. The PO appears to have started to install "Park Assist" as there were four back-up sensors in the rear bumper but they were not connected to any wiring. Couldn't find any notes with the car on that so I thought maybe he had replaced the rear bumper cover and it was from a car with Park Assist. He had backed into something with that bumper cover so I had to repair it, and i removed the back up sensors since I couldn't find any associated wiring. There's also no control unit for that under the drivers seat. That wasn't an option that came with the car. Maybe this is as far as he got? Anybody here have Park Assist option?
