Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My thoughts are the fuel map is either too lean or too rich at that point in the rpm band because the new exhaust has now changed the parameters?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, Had an odd scenario last night where I went to take off - needed to move fairly briskly from a standstill into the street - got on it (not super aggressively but wanted to move) - started going then got nothing or hit quite a bad flat spot? Heard an exhaust pop noise (Cargraphic super sound) pops and crackles fairly regularly so not worried but then came back to life and went? This was idle to around 2,000/3,000 rpm then post that came back to life. Car has Super sound mufflers + Cargraphic 200cel xpipe - hadn't really noticed a flat spot but had all 6 ignition coils changed to Beru 997 ones as well as new Bosch O2 sensors. Previous owner had the car tuned with LWFW (which has been removed for dual mass), under drive pulley and Cargraphic TUV sound + standard cats but not sure the sequence of install and tune (i.e tuned with both of those, tuned with one?) VAL/PIWIS report shows 2 encodings on the DME. Could the tune be the reason for this flat spot? Time for a re-tune because i've changed to a different exhaust system? Planning on completing the exhaust system with Cargraphic headers but I know that wont fix the issue or might even make it worse - I just want to finish off the system. My thoughts are the fuel map is either too lean or too rich at that point in the rpm band because the new exhaust has now changed the parameters? Thanks!
