Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

OK, the only time I get these two Faults is after driving to full operating temperature and having to stop at a red light and idling more than a minute and half, both F.C activate, engine stay's running smooth, I reset the F.C.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanx Guy's, finally got to work on the car, for the fault codes I started on doing a vacuum test and found a leak from the Changeover valve 1 line going to the Vacuum reservoir. PIA to get too, but done and no other leaks.

Damn it, now it's my turn to trouble shoot this.

POST 7Original post

I just posted on this problem with an earlier thread, now I find a newer thread. 808Bill, will follow your success with great interest. So, while this is a PITA to have to watch the CEL and clear codes, is there a risk of damage to the engine by delaying fixing this? I just need to know where to prioritize against other projects.

POST 8Original post

I have not had to code pop up since I cleared it but I'm ready to tackle it next time it pops up.

POST 9Original post

Found a vacuum line that was pulled out of a fitting, reconnected it and drove it yesterday without any CEL. It was the line that runs in front of the alternator between the changeover valve #1 and the one-way check valve Bought new hose and "y" and elbow fittings to replace with new. Hopefully no leaks further back and i can avoid pulling the alternator/throttle body. Sounds like a good preventative for a later day.
