Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

22 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 11Original post

First time drive home in mine I had to stop 5 miles down the road and get out of the car I was so excited. Spent 15 minutes just walking around the car and looking at it because I could not believe that I had the car of my dreams. Happy Trails!

POST 12Original post

Congrats on the purchase and hope you enjoy the ride back. Where exactly is the 9 hrs drive from and then to?

POST 13Original post

Is that the one in South Florida with 150k miles? I almost bought that car! Kinda kicking myself. Seller was straight up and provided tons of documentation. Congrats!

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey guys, made it back and in record time, let's just say i couldn't help but continue to hear that engine roaring behind me. this is my 2nd porsche purchase, 1st 911. the last one was a cayman that i drove home (Atl) from naples so very similar drive. my last car in general was a drive home adventure that originated not 15 min from where i picked up today. not sure what it is about that south florida area but needless to say i'm getting all too familiar w/those highways down there. sorry espo didn't see your msg until now or i would've made one of my pit stops in the gainesville area. but yes, i did snag the one you were looking at and rolled over 149k miles on the way home. car for the year and mileage is in tremendous shape. some small things that i want to get sorted out that will keep me busy throughout the summer i'm sure but i'm pretty excited, especially since i actually plan on driving this car more than my other garage queen.

POST 17Original post

ATL? I am stuck in Michigan for work, but love visiting Atlanta as much as possible! Welcome to the 911 club, the car looks amazing. Please post more pics when available!

POST 18Original post

Glad you made it back and all is well! I have a feeling I'm gonna regret not buying this car for awhile. It was one of the first ones I seriously considered and I was only a few days into my search. The seller was more thorough and up front than any seller I've talked to since then. Please keep us all updated and post some more pics!

yeah everything lined up pretty well for me, the seller and I had been in contact for well over a month as I made an offer he had to sit on for a while. ultimately worked out though as I think he was getting tired of dealing with a lot of tire kickers. you may have been a better owner for the car as I'm actually dealing with an emissions bug, but man is it fun to drive

POST 20Original post

He did tell me he had another interested party in Atlanta. I think we offered the same amount on the car too My hunt continues....

POST 21Original post

Really nice. I did the same thing; found my car here in a classified up in VA, drove up and drove it back...!
