I assume the three hoses in that bundle come as a set since the date stamp on all of them is 2006.

Also if autoatlanta doesn't have an image try Google images by using "Porsche then the part number" so "Porsche 996 xxx xxx xx" good chance you'll find an image of the part for comparison.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello everyone, I purchased a 2003 C4S for a great price back in December and recently pulled the engine and transmission as a serious coolant leak appeared while driving. Upon removing the engine I saw where I made a couple mistakes. I ripped the wiring out of the connector for the evap solenoid and I broke the plastic elbow for the evap solenoid as seen in the picture I have attached. I am able to navigate and interpret the BMW parts catalog with ease, but I am still having a hard time learning the Porsche parts diagram. I have been looking on an off for the past week for the part or hoses I need. I assume the three hoses in that bundle come as a set since the date stamp on all of them is 2006. Also, I need the part number for the electrical connectors that snap in to the housing for the solenoid. If someone could help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is a good place to start - http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p..._911_parts.php

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

99711012900 almost looks like what I need, but I am not sure. How do I find where a part has been superseded to a new part number? The 996 parts catalog from 2017 doesn't show superseded part numbers.

POST 5Original post

If you click on the part number in the list in the right column, it will bring up a picture and description of the part, and if the part number has been superseded, it will tell you that with the new part number.

POST 6Original post

Also if autoatlanta doesn't have an image try Google images by using "Porsche then the part number" so "Porsche 996 xxx xxx xx" good chance you'll find an image of the part for comparison. Not too sure of hoses being sold in bundles they are usually sold separately. The Porsche parts catalogue for the 996 platform are good but not great. I went through the Macan PET not long ago and they are much better.
