Also I am realizing that it is possible the drain tubing has disconnected somewhere along the line and I may need to check that.

Does anyone know how to remove the interior headliner as well as internal A and B pillar pieces so that I can check those as well?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So I purchased my 996 roughly 6 months ago and have been chasing a leak since I purchased the car. Previous owner garage kept the car and never took it out in rain so never encountered this issue. I store the vehicle outside with an outdoor cover as I do not have room in my garage for another vehicle. I have narrowed the leak down to the sunroof, and what seems like the passenger side front sunroof drain. The other drains appear to be clear and functioning as they should. I tried blowing out the drain with an air hose and compressor however this has not seemed to clear it. This past weekend I removed the passenger front wheel and began to remove the wheel well liner however I was not able to fully remove it as I did not realize at the time that the liner is also tied into some of the front under body plastics. I did peel back the rear of the liner looking for the drain exit location but was unable to find it. Does anyone have an exact location of where this should be? Also I am realizing that it is possible the drain tubing has disconnected somewhere along the line and I may need to check that. Does anyone know how to remove the interior headliner as well as internal A and B pillar pieces so that I can check those as well?
Any help is appreciated.
The leak is showing up in two locations. The first is the lower corner of the headliner behind the sun visor. The second is inside the car and it appears to be coming out of the lower part of the dash in the door sill.
Passenger side sunroof drains mirror the drivers side. In order to check if the hoses are connected to the sunroof drain trays you will need to drop the headliner, which also requires removing the A, B and I think the C pillar covers.
Thank you for the info. Apparently I was looking in the wrong location for the front drains. If I am reading this correct the front drains out of the vehicle in the door sil? Does anyone know the procedure for removal of the A,B,C pillar covers as well as headliner?
