Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello Rennlist! I was wondering if anyone knows what rims these are. They came on the car when I bought it and I just switched 'em for some BBS 5 spokes. I would like to sell them, but I need to find the new price to get a starting point. If anyone is interested let me know! Need to sell asap.

POST 2Original post

Saw these while looking for wheels awhile back, they look like yours but hard to tell in your photo "RODERICK - RW5" I think carid.com may have them.

POST 3Original post

Check the back of the wheels for part numbers. They look similar to 997.2 wheels but hard to tell cause of the black powdercoat.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, that is definitely them. Previous owner tried to tell me they were 997 Turbo, but I knew they were not OEM Porsche wheels. They were too wide and unfortunately resulted in some rubbing, so the tires show a little wear in the rear. How do you value something like this used? They have Hankook V12 Evo2s with good tread, but also have a little rash on each rim from the previous owner. With tires, would $500-$700 CAD be acceptable? Thanks for finding this by the way!

POST 6Original post

Value is only determined by what someone else is willing to pay for them. if you are a paying member you can post them for sale here, otherwise Craigslist is your friend. I think you are in the right ball park for sure.
