This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Everyone, My cigarette lighter, which I had been using as a cell phone carger, kicked the bucket and isn't working. Anyone have quick fixes for this? Also, is this common? And, I've seen a few upgrades that convert this to a USB and/or other things - any suggestions? Thanks, Matt

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It was the fuse! Great advice. Issue: fuse blew after I replaced and put car charger back in. Thoughts on continuous lighter fuse popping?

POST 4Original post

if the fuse blew before inserting the charger, I would say you have a short in the wiring, if it blow when you inserted the charger, the charger has a short itself.

POST 6Original post

Try something else like a cigar lighter and see if it blows.
