Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suspected cause
But sounds like if it feels better that the problem was probably fixed.
Leading evidence: 'probably' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'probably' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend but' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Then you're looking at block-off plates and adjustable links, or replacing the suspension member itself.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Inside right rear is wearing on the inside. Took it in to an alignment shop and they were not able to get the rear camber in spec. The car is a bone stock 2002 C2. From what I can gather, there are two different width rear tires for this car:
265 35 18
285 30 18
I have the 285's. I asked for the the "standard" alignment (as he asked if I was going to track it or had lowered suspension).
Measured Camber:
L R
-1.22 -1.52
Adjusted
-1.22 -1.44 Target is -.50
MEasured Toe:
+.27 +.10
Adjusted
+09 +.08 Target is .08
Question: can a wider tires affect the measured camber? Seems odd that it cannot be brought back into spec (unless something is bent). He recommended a camber kit.
How many miles on the tires and what are they? -1.4 rear camber is within Porsche spec and shouldn't be the cause of your problems. 265 vs 285 is irrelevant as well.
The number one cause that I've seen with uneven tire wear is bad alignment technicians. Because the new racks make it so easy, they will throw people on there that don't have a clue or the attention to detail to get it right.
Slak,
They are Potenza S-04. Probably have 10-12k on them. THey were on the car when I bought it and I have put 8k on them.
I always figured the alignment was off as the car was a bit squirrily. Now, not so much.
I was considering that it was a technician thing too. Shop came recommended but that may not matter.
The right rear has substantial wear on the inside, which I attributed to excessive toe out. Shop claims negative camber. Either way, I will be buying new rear tires as soon as the S-04's are off back order.
Toe problem makes a lot more sense to me as well. But sounds like if it feels better that the problem was probably fixed. 12k isn't horrible for rear tires but you should get more than that out of the new ones. Seems like these cars go through two rears for every one front.
The suspension members also "wear" over time due to the eccentric, so it's not uncommon to not be able to achieve a proper camber or toe due to the carrier wearing. Then you're looking at block-off plates and adjustable links, or replacing the suspension member itself.
