When my girlfriend who is sitting next to me allows me to use my computer, I'll post pics!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just installed Fister Sport Exhaust mufflers on my car and they sound incredible! I have heard several mufflers and liked none of them. I was set on getting the factory Porsche Sport Exhaust until I heard the Fister Sport Exhaust. The workmanship looks excellent and Darin was extremely accommodating. I never get sick of hearing the sound and find myself lowering the windows in the middle of a south Florida summer to listen to the exhaust. The mufflers sound great when accelerating and they are almost non-existent when cruising which helps maintain a docile noise level inside the car. Anyone considering a sport exhaust that wants a great sound that is not overbearing should consider these mufflers. I have absolutely no regrets and haven't smiled this much since I bought the car.
I have a set of fabspeed mufflers. Do you think they will take them for a trade in for the fister? They say $225 with my muffler. and I only have the fabspeed mufflers to trade in
Thanks! Haven't figured out how to post pics yet, but have 103,000 miles on my car (new engine installed in 2007 at 65,000 miles) and loving every mile. I used to have an '87 Carrera and miss it, but my 996 does everything better. It has tons of factory options and is holding up very well. I love the sport design wheels in your car. Those are sport designs, right?

Congrats on the move! I have been salivating over these babies for a while now, ever since I read about them in this forum. Did you opt for the ceramic coating? Why Why not? Did you do the install or have a local shop handle the swap out.
They are high on my priority list, once I get my Schroth harnesses, these should be next. I haven't heard anyone say one single bad thing about the Fisters or the guys that work there....which is awesome! Everybody in here that has made the switch seems to absolutely love them! As a matter of fact I think a few are still out looking for a tunnel or two....... hmmm, maybe head to Boston for the Big Dig, that now runs underground...........anywho, Can't wait to cal them and get started!
Enjoy and Congrats, again!
I have the bypass pipe on now. And like it. But would like a nice sounding exhaust for a back up, since its so easy to change. 30 min. job. I have the Fabspeed mufflers to, but there not aggressive enough for me.

Thanks. Definitely a worthwhile mod. I didn't go for the ceramic coating. I didn't think it was necessary and may ship the car to Montreal, Canada where I'm not too concerned about heat. I had my garage do the swap; thankfully, I'm too busy to do the swap myself! I don't think you'll regret it if you go for it. I haven't heard or read anything bad about Darin either.
Thanks for the instructions! When my girlfriend who is sitting next to me allows me to use my computer, I'll post pics! I'm using my phone to surf right now. I think your instructions are perfect. I found all the links and buttons!
Yes I did listen on y-tube, but you have to hear the bypass in person. It is loud, but a nice loud that gets everyone attention when you go by. They want to know what the hell is in that Porsche. I love that mean sound since coming from a Mustang Cobra.
