Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey There: Looking for some advice on what suspension upgrades to do on my 2000 C4 Cab Suspension. All though I drive it year round, it will do most of its miles go around ... Mosport (now called CTMP Canadian Tire Motorsport ) I will still need to be able to fit my snow tires on it for the winter, so can't drop it too low, but other than that no limits on how track oriented I make it .... other than the $$$$ As I see the full coil over option as likely out of my budget, what would you advise I might do? I'm located just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and get the car serviced at Porsche Centre Oakville. I will be looking to do the upgrades over the coming ... winter. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

PSS10's on mine and love them. Of course I got them for less than $2,000 about 8 years ago.

Thanks, I will check them out

Im a huge fan of the Ohlins R&T. List price is $2500 and you can get it cheaper if you pick up the phone and call most places that sell it. FWIW it's going to be barely more expensive than PSS9/10 coil overs, but with much better dampers. The spring rates are actually stiffer than a 997 GT3, but my car rides better than stock with the dampers set to 12. Set them stiff and the car is amazing, but still somewhat forgiving over extremely harsh roads due to the DFV. People keep buying the same suspensions they've seen everyone else buying for the last 15 years, but there is some great new stuff on the market these days. A cheaper route would be to just get the ROW M030 suspension, but it's going to ride pretty harshly over bad roads and still not be all that stiff in the corners when you want it to be. But it's cheap when you consider it comes with sways. You can also probably source some M030 springs and pair them with Koni Sport adjustable dampers (aka Koni Yellows). They are pretty amazing and will ride better than stock when soft, but give you the ability to stiffen up for track or autoX. They're pretty popular among stock class autocrossers
