With all the bogus use of patents I see in my trade (software), it's good to see them being used as they were intended for a change.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T161109Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Patent #3 was issued just a few days ago. This one didn't take quite as long as my first two IMS Patents. This one covers (but is not limited to) the technology the Single Row Pro is based upon, (fitting a dual row bearing into the space of a single row OE bearing)as well as the Faultless Tool, and method of installation. Figured I'd share this with y'all 🤘

POST 2Original post

As someone who has helped multiple folks through the patent process, this seems like a Big Deal. Congratulations R

POST 3Original post

Getting a (or another) patent is always something to be proud of. Congratulations.

POST 6Original post

A well-deserved congratulations! Keep on keeping on.

POST 7Original post

Innovation a key part of flexible capitalism. prevents stagnation , promotes growth. You sir are one who makes the system viable, well done.

POST 8Original post

Another feather in the cap that takes hard work and dedication. Congrats!

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, Guys... Feels good to have this one behind me, now I can hand it off to the "Running Back" :-) I've learned a lot over the past decade of these Patent processes. It paved the way for a few more non- automotive based invention concepts which are in process at the present.

POST 10Original post

Congratulations Jake. You have much to be proud of. Keep it up!

POST 12Original post

Congrats Jake! We often miss the value innovative minds (like Jake) bring to our society, as things like patents, tend to slip through unnoticed.

POST 13Original post

Nice to have such an active vender and contributor like you Jake, thanks.

POST 14Original post

As a person who has installed the IMS Solution (with the attendant tools - IMS pro install kit & supplemental kit) I can say thank you and congrats on a job well done! It really is an elegant "solution" for a job that Porsche originally said couldn't be done...

POST 15Original post

Congratulations Jake, certainly a well deserved confirmation from the US Patent Office that your innovative thinking deserves protection.

POST 18Original post

With all the bogus use of patents I see in my trade (software), it's good to see them being used as they were intended for a change. Congrats Jake.

POST 20Original post

Congrats Jake! There is a lot to be said about your will to never stop learning and innovating.

POST 21Original post

I call BS! Everybody knows you can replace the IMSB with a wheel bearing puller and reinstall with a section of 2.5" PVC pipe from Home Depot. All this fancy pants stuff..... LOL...very very impressed Jake. Good job! Congratulations and Oooorah! Good man you are....

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 14303820

The prototype for this Patented Faultless Tool was originally made from scrap material laying next to my milling machine, coupled to a 914 AC compressor next nut, and 12.00 worth of stuff from the local hardware store. It looks like Frankenstein, but it's all I use still today🤘 I lived the majority of my life having to make something, out of nothing, and I learned how to to be good at it. Today I tend to find myself continuing to do the same.

POST 26Original post

The vulnerability in this situation is there seems to be only one expert inventing Patent-worthy fixes to save the M96 from itself. Who else has a significant Patent for any part to help us keep these engines running ? Porsche just abandoned this issue. I hope Porsche at least send Jake a fruit cake at Christmas? For all the advice he has given here, maybe we should too ? Until December, I'll just say "Thank you Jake".

POST 27Original post

Congrats. Thanks for your great products. I would not be purchasing my, new to me, 2001 996 C4 without the new bearing. Your effort and skill has made ownership of the 996 a reasonable risk for me. I am sure many others are grateful for your efforts.
