Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After checking various ads listing various part numbers with inconsistent applications for the same part numbers & some saying "updated version" I'm left unsure if there is a difference. These are going in an '04. Enlightenment appreciated.

POST 2Original post

I went through the same. The updated ones have a larger head but then the heat shields don't fit right. Couple of spacers sorts them out.

POST 4Original post

Suggest you use a Porsche part number for your '04.. When you are confident you have the correct part - Interchange to Beru: One possibility is ??? 997-602-104-02 $26 at RND http://store.rndeuroparts.com/BERU/I...997-602-104-02

POST 5Original post

The Beru coils comes with the correct length bolts for these updated coils. http://www.warehouse33auto.com/parts...602%20104%2002 -Jason

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks very much to all for the replies. Ahsai: it's a 2004 C2.

POST 7Original post

99760210400 is the official latest from Porsche and it has regular size. It's NLA from Bosch though. Instead Bosch carries 99760210404 and it's thicker so the heat shield may not fit as another poster pointed out. Btw, I recommend Jason from warehouse33!
