Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New series of the Grand Tour is out on Amazon Prime, with a completely new team. They have a chemistry between the. which works well IMO. Episode 6 features a 996.1 C2 vs a BMW M3 and a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R competing off road and on it in Angola. 996 does well, particularly as all of the cars had a budget limitation of 10k. Worth a watch, with plenty of laughs, breathtaking scenery and some exciting driving.

POST 3Original post

Its always painful to see them destroy cars that could be nice with a little love. Whenever you see a car on an automotive show like that, you know its going to be ruined.

POST 4Original post

It will drive some renewed interest/sentiment for them in any case.

POST 5Original post

Really great to see how well 996 performed overall. The worst 911 being a great car is not surprising to owners.

Better it saw some action and died than sat in a garage being used to 1/10th of its potential imo.

The car wasnt even destroyed. the front bumper was damaged, which having owned one for a couple of years seems easy to do. i think that car is going to get a ton of use if left in angola.
