Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Based on how frequently I was replacing batteries before, I have saved a couple hundred bucks including the cost of two JR's.
Leading evidence: 'Replace batteries' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). I have ZERO complaints about these things; the fact that each unit comes with TWO connections (one with rings for mounting to the battery terminal and one with clips to use wherever you need it in a pinch) makes it that much more attractive for the $$.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've been using it for two years now and it has worked flawlessly.
Recently picked up a 99 C2 Cab. So far everything has been great so far and really appreciate all the helpful info on this forum. This weekend, I was washing the car, and happened to notice this wire, hanging down in the front bumper. It is right next to the outside air temp sensor. Any ideas what it would be? I was thinking maybe an old radar detector, but I don't see anything place inside where anything had been mounted.
Thanks! I see the black and red wire running to the battery. I'll have to make sure I find a battery maintainer with the same hook ups as it's soon going to be time to put her to bed for the winter.
Does this battery maintainer work well? Or is there one that is more universally recommended? I'm quite sure I don't need the Porsche name on it. (I do have a Sharpie and can add it myself)...
The "Battery Tender" brand works fine - I don't use the junior, but I would think that for a "no-frills" tender it's ok. I actually use one of the larger units that can do 2 cars/batteries at once

I've been using it for two years now and it has worked flawlessly. In fact, one of my cars had a quirky battery before I started using the tender over the winter months (while the car was put up for maintenance) and I haven't had even a hiccup since (even when the car has sat for well over a week - locked of course).
I have not bought a new battery in the 4-5 years since I started using the Jr. for my 911 and Corvette. Based on how frequently I was replacing batteries before, I have saved a couple hundred bucks including the cost of two JR's.
The very first one I bought finally died (after being plugged directly into a garage outlet in a house with known dirty power); when the unit died, the status lights indicated that it was no longer functioning correctly. I have ZERO complaints about these things; the fact that each unit comes with TWO connections (one with rings for mounting to the battery terminal and one with clips to use wherever you need it in a pinch) makes it that much more attractive for the $$.
