Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm assuming you were using Harry's Lap Timer and Go-Pro?

Getting a point by coming into a corner is always exciting knowing you shouldn't be where you are after making the pass and using all of the track to get stable again.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Some of us Rennlisters had a good time this past weekend thrashing our cars around the track.
Between the three of us there's likely enough video to bore you - but here's a good clip that highlights the symphony of a high revving M96 breathing through the FVD Cats and Fisters, following a supercharged 996 ME then getting blown away by an infamous ex-996 now 997 cheesehead and his FSI 4.0L work of art.
As the relative rooking in the group - I was just happy to keep up. Enjoy!
Nice video and great looking track. What is the camera/software package you used to display the realtime data etc. Very cool. Looks like you had a great time.
Great vid Steve! Still driving that track 2 days later. DWS964 is the one driving the SC car.....and for you old timers that is Ferd's old car. That clip reminds of what the FSI 4.0 is....a bull in a China shop.
Nice driving. I'm assuming you were using Harry's Lap Timer and Go-Pro? The 4.0 997 may have been quicker on the straightaway but it looked like to me you were driving a better line that he was.
What tires were you on? It looked like they were holding up to some decent g's.
Slakker wins the audio/video prize. Yep - that's Harry's with a GoPro mounted high on the windshield. Pete's a serious driver - he was probably just hanging it out there as a handicap
I'm running the often misunderstood Sumitomo HTR Z III. They hold up surprisingly well to track abuse, have a modest amount of grip and are very predictable. You can really feel them progressively give up traction - they are a good tire to learn on and are dirt cheap.
1.2 G's on the Sumitomo's sounds pretty stout to me. An engine's worth is best demonstrated on the track - not the dyno - so Pete did some might fine "demonstratin'" of the 4.0. Nice!
I can't get over what a fun weekend that was. Getting a point by coming into a corner is always exciting knowing you shouldn't be where you are after making the pass and using all of the track to get stable again.
