I ran Mobil 1 5w-40 and installed the L & N Spin-on filter kit @ about 31,000,....adding about 1/3 of a quart at that time All my previous filters are perfectly clean (and stored for future ref) This oil was nearly a year old Fuel is always Shell V-Power 93 oct. The JG 5-40 goes in spring and that will be the only oil I use in the future I can't explain the high fuel count other than I sprayed out the oil tray with and old can of Gun Scrubber before I drained into it what say you ?

Before you go to the DT40 make sure you flush for about 200-400 miles with BR30. The Joe Gibbs oil hate the Mobil additive package and the flush helps the cross pollination issue.
