Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

I checked renntech.org but I can only see the user manual.
Leading evidence: 'Check renntech.org' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check renntech.org' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

To go a step further, I ordered and received an electornic version of this manual, but all files were incomplete so the PDF's didn't work properly.
I've seen Boxster service manuals from Bentley etc, and lot's of CD's on EBAY for the Boxster, but can't find anything for the 996
Anyone know where I can obtain a service manual, paper or CD, for my 03 996?
Always good to have a ref guide at your side when you start working on the car!
Thanks in advance.
Chris.
Wow - I sure have become popular today!
Here is the story on the manuals: I am not personally in the business of distributing them. I'm not sure I have the expertise even if I wanted to. This morning I contacted the gentleman who provided me with my copy to see if he would like referrals. Unfortunately I have not yet received a reply.
Sorry for the delay on the PM's. Either way, I promise I will answer each and every PM request once I receive a response.
Sorry to add to your list of those that want a PM, but I am interested as well.
To go a step further, I ordered and received an electornic version of this manual, but all files were incomplete so the PDF's didn't work properly. The seller was a middle man and said that the original files were corrupt as well. Not sure what I mentioned this, but I would be thrilled to to get a PM about this too.
Thanks.
I am looking for the workshop manual. I checked renntech.org but I can only see the user manual.
I have the very heavy 'technical manual' from Porsche but it doesn't really show everything. I bet there is something more 'workshop' oriented, no ?
I got the tech manual from here:
