Assuming Tim is an "excellent driver" with a clean record I might be willing to hire him to drive the John Deere the 250 miles to it's new home.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

38 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK It seems that a few grumpy newbies have a problem with "having fun" on the 996 forum so to appease these grumps I am starting the "OFFICIAL, LET'S FIND TIM A JOB" thread. After thinking this through I am sure we will have the full endorsement of Tim's wife So Tim, feel free to chime in with what you believe your best qualifications are and the type of jobs they suit best. As for the rest of us we will use our limited knowledge of your skills to place you in a job that best fits..this limited knowledge Anyone want to start us off here? Ok, I will. The pic below is of a new guard cow for the CIA posing as an environmentalist. Tim, you could easily handle reving up this project and taking it to the next level. A herd of these guard cattle are needed for dangerous missions around the world and YOU ARE THE MAN Well within your skill set!

POST 2Original post

I already told him to pursue the self-employed route as a consultant for retail logistics. With his experience and knowledge he could make big time $$$$$. I say - DO IT!! C.

POST 5Original post

Do I have to milk these cows twice a day, every day? We could pull the tanker trucks (yes, it will take three trucks per cow per milking) next to the cow, slap on the vacuum pumps and pump directly into the tanker.

POST 6Original post

I don't know Tim but I might be able to help. True story. Last week in one day I sold my 996 race car, my 996 cup car and a restored John Deere 3010 that I purchased from my Mom after my Dad passed away a couple of years ago. Here's the problem. The 3010 is in a garage in the little town of Webster, ND. I need to get it to it's new owner in, you guessed it, New Salem, ND. This is a very cool tractor and capable of speeds near 25 mph. Assuming Tim is an "excellent driver" with a clean record I might be willing to hire him to drive the John Deere the 250 miles to it's new home. Bring your mittens!

POST 7Original post

Quotes source post: 4824789

Does it have a snow plow blade on the front? I could probably make a little money "on the side" from the state of ND by plowing the snow during my trip.

POST 9Original post

Tim's been trying to mix the service records on his car so potential buyers will think it has only 5K miles on it so he can get his asking price.

I don't know about Tim but my son is an up and coming sound engineer in Chicago. You might want to grab him before he gets famous!

POST 18Original post

Guys, I'm a n00b and I do not consider this playfulness as part of the professionalism the RENNlist community represents. BTW, I hope you find a job soon, Tim so you get to keep the Pcar.

Ken - No movement on that topic. No openings at this time.

POST 27Original post

Guys - those are some great ideas you have given me. Let's see.... I guess I could harvest the pumpkins, using the John Deere of coourse, and feed them to the cows so I could coordinate the twice daily milking. I can then use the "waste" from the cows to fertilize the pumpkins to get a bigger crop next year. I can also snap a few pics of the cows for the little known but greatly sought after R-rated version of the Chic-Filet Cow calendar. Throw in a little PhotoShopping to make those utters really stand out.

These guys must have investments in anti depression drugs. One of the old friends in england broke a femor on a dirt bike. He had the same model gsx-r1000 sportbike like mine so we knew each other from a forum. He laid in his hospital bed soaking up morphine posting on the forum with his phone to show how his work mates were advertising his office chair on ebay as like new hardly used and never crashed. Some guys ........
