Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I will be picking up my 996 tomorrow (formerly renn911's) Here is one of his pics, so I don't get pummeled. I've been lurking for a few months, and hope to start posting here, whenever inappropriate.

POST 2Original post

POST 11Original post

POST 16Original post

Looks like a good buy! I called Walter the day after he posted his price change but I had already been beat to the punch and lost out on this one. It's incredible but when they are priced right these cars sell in a heartbeat. Anyone else got a 996 with traction control and a new engine they are looking to unload?

POST 19Original post

great looking wheels, welcome back - if those side skirts get in your way getting in and out of the car PM me

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the warm welcome. When I picked it up, I had to drive all the way from Boston to New York on a nice sunny warm fall day. It took me over 4 hours. I was ready to turn around and drive it again. Great car. Now, for my first mod....I'll start another thread.
