They were surprised at how clean the engine is otherwise seeing I'm not exactly gingerly with the car and the sheer number of track days.

My car SHOULD be done by Oct 6. I leave for NY the day after. So far, I am having him do the following additional to repairing the valve seat/machining the head
Replace Air/Oil separator
Replace water pump
Replace ALL coolant hoses
Replace all belts
Replace all sparkplugs
Replace oil pan with X51 baffled oil pan
I'm trying to locate a used X51 intake to get more horsepowerz
Replace the two motor mounts
Clean out all the throttle body stuff
Replace all the differential fluid
replace RMS
gotta also order the IMS bearing retrofit (from what i'm reading, this can be done without opening up the engine/bottom end? I don't know how but...)
Basically, replace anything attached to the engine that would remotely be close to potential EOL. Bill will be nearing $10K, but im hoping i'm good to go for a while. I'm still bummed that I really cant do the Porsche motorsport cams for the added 50 hp, but something's gotta give and it's a bit steep.
looking up from under through the 'hood'. You can see the new coolant expansion tank replaced a month or so ago. Also replacing those aluminum engine coolant pipes.

had the oil analyzed and there is absolutely no metal particles or any other material in there. They were surprised at how clean the engine is otherwise seeing I'm not exactly gingerly with the car and the sheer number of track days.
Here's the chain with left bank cylinder w/ deposits.
Cylinder 5 as the valve seat material bounced around the combustion chamber. they're nicks so the piston won't have to be replaced.
