Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I was even thinking of taking the truck so they could "play" as the car deonst offer much run around space for an 8 hour stent of sitting....
Leading evidence: 'Run around space' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run around space' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I did a search and all the post seemed to be a few years old so I thought I would start up a new thread?
I found a set of 997 mufflers with the PSE hack and was wondering if they will fit a 02 C2 996? If so is it an easy conversion do does a shop need to do it?
you asking me????
YES and its easy to swap (aside from the rusty bolts)
(ps are they on CL.. that guy is an RL member and a really nice guy...he probably would help you install them... or I could
Yep it is on CL
And you're right, it's not the PSE hack but a Stage III hack. So would that make it way louder than a PSE hack? Would it be better to just do the PSE hack on my current mufflers?
well I dont know... I never heard them run. But you have the 3.6 cans and can either modify them or have Fister D do it for you. I opted to do a "home" job to a set of 3.6's for my 3.4 and I loved it.
One thing you might consider is running them to see if you like them, if not have yours modded..IIRC he was selling them pretty cheap
the plan is to take my 2 boys, they have been on the fence about going and for some reason said they wanted to go this time
?????
I am hoping they get interested in going with me, but understand if they dont. I was even thinking of taking the truck so they could "play" as the car deonst offer much run around space for an 8 hour stent of sitting.... I will see what come of it. Yes for sure, sill say HI !
These are SOOOO fun and trust me everyone has a great time and LOTS of seat time... you will be tired and smiling, then when you get home you will be missing it and wanting more! I also have a DE on the 21st and another skills day on the 31st... busy month !
here is a vid of the morning "beginer" slalom I set up...it was my first run with the 86 and I was really over steering just to feel it out... I looped it a couple times too by lifting at the wrong place...a couple runs of moving the points where I make the imputs and she smoothed right out, its really fun to drive!
in the last 2 1/2 years I have run that about 20+ days for about 250 or more times up and down that strip... and it never gets boring!
here's one of the "open session" I ran that till almost dark (maybe 25 times) this is a wild ride with a passenger where i had the a$$ way out.. you can hear us laughing...
(dont try this your first time out....but its fun as hell!)
YEA, hope to also...
the Proformance school is great.... I think PCA offers a better choice and if you want less cars on the track try the BMW club, they were asking us to come over and fill up thier empty slots last month, seems like a great group with excellent instructors too !
I'm really torn. On the one hand it would be fun to get a bit more sound out of the car, I love the way the PSE sounds on other cars.
But I'm also thinking about saving up a bit and getting the ROW M030 set up. The car fills tight, but it's still 8 years old with 50K, I'm guessing that a new suspension would make it drive like a new car.
I have a sinking feeling this forum will cost me a lot of $$$.
Because it's a cab I don't think I'll track it all that much, is the X74 too much for the street?
NOPE
perfect in fact - do a search on ROW and X73/74 some people have tried both, most have to choose. The ones who opted for the X over the ROW always say it was the right choice and mostly were worried it would be "too much"
it's not
