Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
The only disadvantage I have seen is that the thickness of the subwoofer is limited and I had to search to find one to replace the blown one the car came with.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Who has a bad-*** sound system here?????? Time to show what you got. I'm looking for a way to improve the bass in my car (without riping out my rear seats) So what better way to do my research? I have a somewhat impressive system in my car. I have a Kenwood in-dash touchscreen DVD player with navigation, a 4- channel 600 watt Kenwwod amp......and my favorite.....a Phatbox by Phatnoise that holds up to 10,000 songs. My hi's are incredible but my bass in non-existing! Did I mention I can watch TV too? Who has done a project to improve the bass in their car.....doesnt need to be earth shaking- but will pass.
Maybe I'll post some pics of my set-up tomorrow.

I just bought my car about two months ago and it has a subwoofer in the trunk that sits inside the spare tire. The sub box is sealed pretty well and it sounds awsome. It has about 1 inch tube that runs into the cabin. There was also a macintosh amp that sits in front of the spare tires with a shelf that sits over it to cover. I asked the dealer about it because I thought it was stock because it looks so good and they had only seen one other system in a turbo. The only disadvantage I have seen is that the thickness of the subwoofer is limited and I had to search to find one to replace the blown one the car came with. I will try to get some pictures for you or maybe someone knows where to get this kit. If you are worried about weight for the track it is easily removed in about 2 minutes.
lol..my sound system is the basic essentials.
alpine head unit,
alpine V12 amp with 4 channel capability
stock speakers for now which will prolly be replaced with MA Audio components.
I have an awesome system.... I contacted Rob at Audio Innovations and he set up a custom system for me that looks stock, but sounds incredible.. Focal dash and door speakers, Focal subwoofers with a custom enclosure, Audison 5-channel amp with cross-overs and Focal rear speakers and a Nakamichi head unit. I chose to install it myself... took a while, but is well worth it.
Sounds like you may have a Reus system, or part of a Reus system. Contact him he may be able to help with the woofer issue. I am getting one soon

Fordo your spare wheel sub sounds like an amazing install.....where exactly is that tube you mentioned going through? A couple other members mentioned

they have a similar product.....really cheap too. But I'm curious to know exactly where that tube you mentioned is located at, was it cut through the body?
Viramont--I have a box trimmed out to fit in the back behind the seats with 2x JL Audio 6W0s...they don't pick up super low stuff but man they sounded great in my 996--if you are interested let me know, make me an offer and I will see what I can do. Need to get out the digital camera to get the pics for you if you want them...they are down firing and it looks from the outside like it is part of the back trim, not exposed so you wouldn't be worried about theft...
