Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all. I need to have a car checked out sometime in about a month and am looking for any recommendations that you may have for either dealerships or independents in the Philadelphia/Cherry Hill, NJ area. I will only be available for a very limited time while there so I need to make an appointment. Thanks in advance!

POST 2Original post

If you want a p dealer, use cherry hill porsche. The service manager is Gene Cannon and he is a great guy.

POST 3Original post

Nick- is that Tar Hell Nick? I will refrain from Duke v UNC comments but instead give a little southern hospitaliy in the North. Which is very rare. Best in Philly is Don Rosen. Service Manager is Mike Pellberg. PM me and I will give you his number. He is a friend of mine. Will set you up and take a good look. From here, the best choice is dictated by the location of car. If it is on the NJ side of the river, Cherry Hill is good. If on this side, Don Rosen. Need any other help just shout. A neighbor from tobacco road is a friend even is he is a Tar Heel.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Neil and Scott! The car is actually on the NJ side of the river, so I take it from your responses that Cherry Hill would be best. Car actually may have been bought new from there. I need to make a Sat. appt, so I want to go ahead and schedule this as soon as possible. I'm still open for any other venues, though, if other have and rec's. And Scott: would it have been better if I had just left it as "NC Nick?" 'NC' for NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, of course! Tar Heel born, Tar Heel bred. Maybe this will spawn a few decent OT threads for us come November or so? Let's go ahead and make a pact on football season, though. I don't think that either of us will have anything to write home about. Thanks again!

POST 5Original post

Good luck with the PPI. As they say- Some of my best friends are Tar Heels. Well you are right about NC. And football. I kinda miss the place myself. Went on the second date with my southern wife at the UNC art museum and the Carolina Inn. Let us know how you like the car. Scott

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Scott. Actually talked with Gene at Cherry Hill today. Setting up an appointment to get the PPI done the first week of July. Told him that he was rec'd by the board and he said he was flattered. Very nice guy. Can't wait to officially join this club!
