Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was told my car had turbo style wheels by my dealer is this the case?

POST 2Original post

No. Those are 996 MY02 wheels. http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...elDetail&id=43 These are Turbo. http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...elDetail&id=42

POST 3Original post

Those are still nice rims though. I bought some Turbo Style rims from TireRack, they had them on clearance. I loved the design and mine are kinda an updated version of the Turbo Twists. I actually think they look better than the OEM Porsche ones and a bit more modern. But...that is personal preference. Great deal for the staggered set of 18" and was a nice upgrade from my OEM Porsche 17" These were my OEM rims...sold the set on Craigslist for $500....

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks for the heads up. My salesman ,Guy, was a toy designer and didn't know all that much about Porsches. I guess these were an optional wheel though.

Those are nice rims and look perfect on your car. Please keep them. you could have had worse rims like I posted and sold. Nice car also!!! Love that color.

POST 8Original post

Those are the best wheels for a 996 IMO. If you decide you don't want them, I need an autox set...
