Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'hose and less expensive too' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'hose and less expensive too' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Needing a T-stat & Water Pump for my 2000 C4 I went shopping on E-Pay. Four Sellers had my parts, ready to ship. T-stats ranged from $40 to $80 and the W.Pump for $159 up to $399 (with Free Shipping!). Low end only claimed the fit my Porsche. At the high end they where "OEM". "made for Porsche" - "in der Fatherland". And, I was cautioned to Beware of those cheep Asian parts!...
So next I checked one of the Big Brand Stores - Rennlist & PCA advertiser - and was happy to see Genuine OEM part for $45 and $250. Looked good- but next I called down to the state of Oregon - home of the 2010 College football Champs - to the friendly folks at Sunset. I wanted Real Porsche Parts if the $'s were anywhere CLOSE.
To my surprise ... the T-stat was $36 and the Water Pump just $216. That is what they call "EXCELLENCE" Pricing... and I agree!
yeah and if you buy from Sunset Audi you get a better deal if you're out of state than you would if you bought from them in state. Something to do with knocking water pumpers or something.......weird.
All my Porsche and Audi parts come from Sunset. Nice people on the other end of the line too.....And they appreciate the business.
Try filling out the form at their website since it has an email block I think they would email you back the conditions for shipping.

I picked up two light bulbs for the taillight (double filament ones) the other day at a local dealership. Not expensive enough to make a special order from Sunset or Suncoast at $15 a pop, I did ask if it comes with lube and they just laughed.
You guys could also try RMeuropean.com or AutohausAZ.com. I don't think they're forum sponsors but I've found items from each that are cheaper than most, for any of my cars including the ex-996.
RMeuropean does overnight shipping standard, at least everytime I've ordered so far.
My local parts guy once explained how Sunset prices are so low. Apparently Porsche steeply discounts some parts on a rotating basis. Instead of passing on their savings only on the deeply discounted parts, Sunset amortizes the discount across all parts. My local guy was frustrated that his managers would not allow him to do the same.
The drawback to Sunset is shipping time. I have waited weeks a few times for a part on occasion. If they have to order it from Porsche the part crosses the country twice to get to me in NC. That said, they are great to do business with.
Like the saying goes. You can have it two out of three ways. The third way won't happen...
Fast, Cheap, Good.

I have a small coolant leak in the front left side. Asked the dealer how much a rad was in case it was that and my FULL CPO warranty won't cover it....
$1600 Cdn
Pelican sells it for $418 US (even after shipping, duty and takes...it would end up being $700 Cdn all in at my door)
That's not just a bit more expensive, it's f*cking criminal!!

All I am sayin' is Shop around folks. You can get real Porsche at the same price or less than the knock offs. An yes I am aware there is a Game of Footsball to play... just thought I would see who is watchin'...it should be fun. Goooooo "O"
+1 for sunset. They spent weeks finding the smallest little plastic clip I needed. I purchase all my porsche and audi stuff there.
I turned my indy on to them and he was thrilled
