Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Also, I'd recommend the FabSpeed V-Clamps for re-installing the tips, as the factory ones will likely be rusted tight and will likely break when loosening.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After 500 miles, I wanted to make sure all nuts and bolts on the exhaust were still tight and have a chance to snug everything up if necessary. Everyone likes pics, so here they are. I dealt with Alex at FabSpeed, who obviously knows the meaning of customer service. He was great to say the least. For me, it is all about dealing with people that are friendly. Anyway, after 500 miles of driving to heat cycle them, these mufflers are great. Not super loud, perfect for around town to enhance the flat six sound and similar to factory noise levels at highway speeds. Lightweight, stainless steel, power enhancing and increased sound, doesn't get much better. Also, I'd recommend the FabSpeed V-Clamps for re-installing the tips, as the factory ones will likely be rusted tight and will likely break when loosening. This job is very easy and straightforward. First-timers will take 3-4 hours, experienced wrenches should take 2 hours with simple tooks. No need to take off rear wheels or rear bumper, I didn't.

POST 3Original post

It is even quicker when you take the rear wheels off. Some guys do it in an 1 hour. Looks great though. Glad you likey.

POST 4Original post

Nice job, how much weight do you think you saved over OEM set up?
