They look sharp, but if I put in a set, I want them to offer better heel and toe ability and GREAT grip on rubber or leather shoes.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Been considering aluminum pedals and am interested in people's experience with them. I've looked at everything out there and am not convinced the performance is any better than stock - especially since Porsche doesn't offer them. They look sharp, but if I put in a set, I want them to offer better heel and toe ability and GREAT grip on rubber or leather shoes.
So, let me have it - your experiences - good or bad.
Thanks,
Kurt
I thought I would get used to blipping with rolling the foot..... But I couldnt get used to it. Heel and toe for me. Yes, the pedal helps (well, me anyway) but with the side extension.
My opinion, FWIW - I don't like the rubber dots. If anything I find they offer less grip when shoes are wet. Wet rubber on wet rubber just doesn't work.
I like the perforated style from Rennline, had them on my '02 C4S for years. Started with the extension to help learn heel-toe but took it off after I got better at it.
Just ordered the grid style from SPR Racing for my '09 C2S. It has the PDK tranny so no more heel-toe for me.
do you have to drill your stock pedal to do this ? I mean can it be reverted easily for resale ?
Because a car with that kind of pedals... the buyer immediately think...oh this guy.. he is having happy foot !
I have these in silver with the red extension ^. MUCH better than the stock whimpy pedals. Not only do they feel better, but they allow a much better heel toe.
I only added a side extension gas pedal to my 993 and painted it matte black. I kept the stock brake and clutch because I don't like the way the aluminum pedals look.
Those aren't OEM parts. I was confused by this and confirmed it with Suncoast. It's not clear to me if the manufacturer of those parts has licensed the logo or not, but I would assume so since a dealer is selling them.
I bought the set from Suncoast. It helped me with my heel and toe during DE's. I bit of a pain to install(drilling in confined space and working with small hardware). They look great. Great mod for the pirice.
