Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know if running the OE 5mm longer lug bolts without spacers will be a problem?

POST 2Original post

FWIW, on my rear wheels I have 13mm longer lugbolts with 5mm spacers; the area behind the rotor hub is hollow; I installed a few of the lugbolts and rotated the wheels a few times to make sure it wasn't making contact with anything behind it. works fine.

POST 3Original post

just be careful, if long enough, the lugs may hit the e-brake pads mechanics. You will hear a crunch if they do. No noise = OK.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cool thanks for the info guys! What about the front? I know I could jack the car up and remove the wheel to find out myself but would rather not.

POST 5Original post

fronts dont have e-brake.... you should be good.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

lol yeah I know, just wasn't sure if they are complete hollow. Thanks appreciate the info!
