OK, no snide remarks from the sunbelt guys. The last two days here in Ohio were so gorgrous, I could not resist. Woke the beast up, and we had a jolly old jaunt. PSE seems a lot louder than I remember, even when the car was all warmed up. I'd forgotten how much attention the old girl gets. Then again, it could be because she's so spanking shiny compared to most of the cars that have been running all winter. A Porsche on a crisp morning. It's a renewed love affair. Definitely no substitute.

Same here. It's a balmy 52 degrees in NJ, and I washed the toy by hand. Just for fun, I ran the engine and asked my boys (5 and 4) to sit in the driver's seat and blip the engine so I could stand in the back and listen to the PSE! What a treat--I never get to hear it from that perspective. Then I switched the PSE off and listened to the difference: it doesn't really become noticable until you get above 3500 rpm...
