This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

All-in-all, not a bad winter's day.
Short story - Saturday, the 996 register's 2 codes before the day even started. I make a quick announcement at the driver's meeting asking if anyone has an OBDII scanner, sure enough...someone does....and, HE's A RENNLISTER!! Bill996, came to my aid.
We looked up the codes, P1123 & P1125. The infamous MAF codes. That evening I run to the local AutoZone and pickup some cleaner. Sunday morning, time for a bit of surgery.
So I take the intake apart...guess what I find? The MAF's grill screen apart from the rest of the housing. Yep...floating free in the intake. A couple little pieces of duct tape later, clean the MAF for good measure and put it back together. Start the car................purrs like a kitten.
Track time...
Torrential rains came Sat and I only went out for two runs. Track was practically flooded by the end of the day. Sunday...however, was all together different...
Sunday, sunny cool (mid to high 40's)...The 996 handled beautifully. The PS2's were fabulous in the rain and in the dry. While it is obvious that I will need another set of wheels and some track rubber, I was VERY satisfied.
To top it all off, Rog (Rennlister: ZBB0730) gave me a ride in his 997 GT3RS...
uh, WOW...what a machine!!!

Speeds: Uh, who cares...it's not about how fast you go. It's about HOW you go fast.
