She turned 50k miles yesterday and I gave her fresh Mobil-1 and changed out the gear oil. I gave her the once over underneath and she looks good!! I like when people ask what year it is and when I tell them it's a '99 they all say about the same thing... "Wow, that's really clean for a '99... looks brand new!" The shifting is a lot smoother this morning too. Some of the notch ness has smoothed out with the newer gear oil. That was an unexpected bonus.

Nick, are you referring to the transmission oil? I am confused as to what you mean by gear oil. The only thing I see in any of the maintenance checklists is transmission oil (changed at 90K). If gear oil is different please elaborate so I can look into doing it. Thanks! Dell
