Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, Im trying to decide between the BK1030 and BK1035 for my 03 996. I understand the 1035 is a truss style mount. But my question is what is the advantage of that style? Is it more easily installed/removed? Is it lighter? Is it stronger? Being able to easily remove the middle section is important to me, but it looks like you can do that on the 1030 also. Is that right? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I have the 1030 and yes, you can remove the middle section quite easily. I do that in the winter so I can put the rear seat backs up. I don't know the advantage of the 1035. Looks weird, probably a few pounds lighter.
