I took my car in to have the dealer check on the problem that I had, that the passenger side mirror stopped tilting when engaged in reverse.

After checking, they found out that a switch was faulty and the back up lights were NOT turning on either.

I took my car in to have the dealer check on the problem that I had, that the passenger side mirror stopped tilting when engaged in reverse. After checking, they found out that a switch was faulty and the back up lights were NOT turning on either. I left the car with them to work on it. I called just a few minutes ago and now they say that the control unit is also bad and needs to be replaced. I guess it's good that all this is done under warranty. For those who have noticed their mirror not tilting when the gear is in reverse, you may want to check your backup lights to see if they are on.
