Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi there,
My name is Simon Morris and i am glad you are interested on my 2004 Porsche
911 Turbo Cabriolet.
The car will be shipped from Greece and i will cover the shipping costs and
insurance,if you buy it now.
You will not have to pay additional taxes, just the price for it.I just want
to let you know from the beginig ,that everything regarding this car is
legit.
The buy it now price is 80000 $ (including shipping and handling).
Shipping:
I will ship the unit with Lufthansa Cargo Charter, and you will receive it
in 6-7 days.
Some words about the car :
Perfect condition, No damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects, and
it is as advertised.
The car is an US model with US specs,it passed the test emissions and comes
with all the documents you need to register the car. I took care of it like
it was my own baby and now is in the same condition as it was when bought it
- even better!
My wife is from Greece and we decided to move there.
Yes, I brought the car here in Greece I wanted to register the car here, but
when I found out how much paper work I must do to register it here, ...
simply I gave up and decided to sell it and buy a family wagon (which is a
must now).
I have made this decision to sell the car faster only for $80000 US,shipping
and handling included.
Also,if you send me your full name and address(for the reservation at
Lufthansa Cargo Charter),in this case I will take you as a serious and
possible buyer ( this way I will loose all the nonpaying bidders that i
occure everyday) and arrange a further deal.
All i need from you is to make a $5000 deposit up front through Western
Union ( i have an Western Union agent location next to me here in
Greece). After I see that the money are available for pick up I'll proceed
with shipping to your location. If you will like it (which I am sure you
will) then you will keep it and you will send me the remaining balance
after.
I asked you money up front for shipping and insurance.
Looking forward to hear from you soon.
Simon Morris.
Dumbass contradicted himself:
"The car will be shipped from Greece and i will cover the shipping costs and
insurance,if you buy it now."
"I asked you money up front for shipping and insurance."
I have dealt with this type of scammers several times ebay and had fun with them.
mffarrell, tell this guy you are very interested and willing to pay 80K. get him excited and then send him another email that you will be in Greece next week for your business and you would like to meet him in person so so you can give him a traveler' check. :-) I tracked down a couple of scammers in easter european countries and handed them over to the FBI.
I did the same back in January for a Plasma TV from someone in London.
I told them I was interested and got the name and address of their Western Union, which points to the location of the person, them told him I will be in London following week for business and he came up with thousands of excuse why he can't meet and all of a sudden the unit was being shipped from Japan, etc... I turned the information to London Police, however, I am not sure whatever happened...

He wanted the laptop shipped while his money would be held in escrow until he could inspect the computer. These sport bikers set up recce and surveilence and when they i.d. him as a scammer they sent him a laptop made out of a three ring notebook binder with a keyboard drawn up in crayon and insured it for some huge amount so he would have to pay something like $ 800. just to take possession...." you do meet the nicest people on a Honda "
And the most important thing do not use fly-by-night escrow companies. These guys setup fake escrow companies that dissapear as soon as they collect enough money.
the western union scam is common
western union is NOT escrow, it is intended as a method of transferring money during emergencies,
the scammer will likely ask you for the 'account' number of the account you use to send the money via western union for his "viewing"
however, having that information is enough to extract the money.
have a little fun with the low life and then hand it over to the FBI.
A local bartender here got taken by the same scam, but with a twist. 2002 Harley Fatboy for $7000.00 I told him he was going to get scammed, but he said they were using squaretrade (or some other reputable escrow service, I don't remember which one) so he thought he'd be safe. He sent his money, and a day later the scammer spoofed an email from him to release the money. I think he's out of luck, I haven't talked to him in a week or so. Aha - a good excuse to go to the bar!
