I curbed one, so I bought a replacement, then ran across a deal on a couple of more so I am one short of two full sets.

I used the bottom boot and thick aluminum surround on a CF shifter for my Boxster, then like a dummy let it go with the car.

factory chrome turbo twist technology wheels, some single wheels of various offsets, floor mats, an entire black carpet set for 996 front, bank, and side pieces.

Right now I have it on an agla boot that I tried to build for my 968, but it didn't work out likje I planned.
I have $5 to 10k worth of 996/986 parts in my basement. i was going to go into the ebay business, but found out it was too much hassle. I have a lot of interior parts, wheels, center caps, upgrade-mod type stuff. I will let most of this stiuff go for less than I have in it just to get the basement cleaned out. My wife is sick of it. I especially have a lot of parts that I instended to pant body color and never did it. I even have some of the porsche paint.. If any of you guys that do this as a business want to make a bulk purchase, I will come up with a list. Wheel sets, single wheels, some used tires with great tread, etc. I haven't inventoried what I have left, so if you have needs, PM me and I will see what I can do. This post may get moved, but I can assure everyone I am not not trying to turn a profit, but will save any Rennlister money on anything I have.
I don't have one this minute but I am about to buy an aero1 bumper for MY2000. The one on my car is fine, minus the bug stuff and some wax around the rubber. Once I get my aero bumper installed, i will let you have it at whatever price you deem fair....no dickering, you just tell me what you think is a fair price
Maybe a list and/or pics would be VERY helpful to the mod vultures here. With at the very least a list of items you have you will be very surprised how many are gone the first day!
I know you are right. I had all of them itemized with pictures and lost my hard drive and have never gotten around to doing it again. Right now, my mother is going through lung cancr and i am on the road just about every week back and forth from GA to TN and don't have much time. I need to take a weekend and do some serious organization with all this stuff. This is the first weekend I've been home in two months and that's only because i was up in TN all week. Our house is about to close and I need to sell this stuff before moving or pay someone to move it. The thing is I probably won't have enough room to keep it as we are doing a major downsize. Right now I have a 2500 sq foot basement and it's not really in my way, but my wife says it must go, especially all the wheels and tires. I have 6 to 10 ebrakes, a slew of upper consoles, some lower center consoles, probably a hundred center caps of various styles, wood grain interior parts, a whole box of shift *****, door hardware, even a couple of bird automotive center consoles, one of which is brand new still in the box. Some used stuff, for the mosr part in ery vgood shape. factory chrome turbo twist technology wheels, some single wheels of various offsets, floor mats, an entire black carpet set for 996 front, bank, and side pieces. arctic silver drivers side mirror, very good shape. I also have a lot of 968 parts, including both outside mirrors for those 844 guys wanting to upgrade. That is just the stuff i can recall off the top of my head.
HOLY CRAP!!!! That is a lot of parts. And here I thought Paul was selling alot when he put his car up for sale. Sounds like you need to open up a store
I've also been trying to give away a targa top for a 914 I've had no takers from the 914 board, which just blows me away that no one wants it. free for pick up, but shipping would be expensive I suppose. still there are plenty of 914 owners around atlanta and theres nothing wront with it. although the hardware doesn't look great, it works.
I was doing the ebay thing for awhike, but there are a bunch of real jerks out there buying on ebay. All of my auctions said no questions asked returns for 30 days and buyers remorse is much more prevalent than I would have ever believed. I got tired of dealing with it and I just decided to do it for fun, not income. I thought it would be a neat way to pay for the mods I wanted to do. I lost my you know what, both buying and selling, but I came to understand why so many ebay sellers say no returns. The painting of parts I did was not up to the quality of Erics stuff, but better than that guy in CA who paints everything with Walmart spary cans. A lot of the stuff i did I ended up painting it 4 or 5 times before I was satisfied. That is a losing proposition and after a few months my wife had had enough. my ebay ID is ymkmkrz, although all of my sales are well beyond being able to see the items, you can see my overall feedback
Here's my current list of WTBs. All are for my 00 C2 cab:
- tips (e.g., tequipment)
- turbo front bumper
- side skirts (e.g., aerokit carrera or cup)
- Litronics
what color floor mats do you need? I have brand new set of boxster reds, plus quite a few used mats of various colors. I have a very nice set of chrome twists that have tires on them now, but no problems taking them off. In fact, I have a total of 7 of the chrome twists. I curbed one, so I bought a replacement, then ran across a deal on a couple of more so I am one short of two full sets. I have a set of silver 18 inchers on my 968. They were the stock wheel on my 996. I had them refurbished by wheel wizard about a year ago. I would be willing to trade for some cup 2's, preferably 17s, but would consider 16s. I also have 2 18 x 10 ET 40s painted midnight blue metallic with pirelli tires on them, but they are nearly worn out. Metal center caps paintd same color with hand painted crests. anyone that has that color blue would like them
I have two sets of tips. they appear to be stainless. Both look good, but I had planned on using mothers to polish them with my dremel and never got around to it. Also a set of stock headers. Not much value in them unless you need them for some reason.
I have a neat CF bat wing with valentine 1 remote built into it. It works, but has not been upgraded to latest V1 generic. I think I sold the rest of my CF stuff, except for boxster air intakes and some boxster CF door sills. I do have some CF interior parts, but they are discolored. I got ripped off by a guy on ebay. I have CF 3 spoke steering wheel but I put it on my car. it's the best mod I've done
I've been trying to get all this stuff together and take pics. My problem, your good fortune, is that I lost my hard drive and have no idea what I have invested in any of this stuff. I ran across some things I had forgotten. I have two complete sets of lug bolts. One used off my car and one new, never been opened box of chome lug bolts that came from Booth design. I have every type of upper center console 986/996 pre 02 and post 02. CF pieces for side buttons on early Boxster upper center console. Everytything from the ugly gray to a natural leather post face lift horseshoe piece, inlcuding arctic silver. Two sets of small wheel spacers, the kind that requires longer lug bolts, hub centric. a couple of steering wheels, one 4 spoke one 3 spoke, no airbags. A couple of gauge clusters, one from a turbo I think, it has a 200MPH speed max, one Tip. all kinds of emblems, boxster, Carrera, 911 chrome, GT3. Hopefully I can get everything inventoried with pictures before Friday.
I'm just trying to move this stuff, not make a profit, so if there is anything you want and you make an offer, I will probably sell it. I just don't have time to try and even get my money back. This goes for Rennlist members only. shipping charges will be actual from 30043 to wherever you are. Just in case, I have some Miata parts as well and a set of really nice gold Fittipaldi BBS wheels that came stock on an Infiniti Q45 that would probably fit most Nissan products aqmong other 114 bolt pattern
I have the door pocket lids, door pulls, side AC vents and a e-brake. All look great except the ebrake, which shows some wear. My guess from someone who rested his hand with a heavy ring on the ebrake as he drove around. I would prefer to sell everything but the ebrake as a set.
I don't have the one I think you are wanting. I have a solid black leather covered with aluminum button, that comes standard on full leather interior ( stitching to match leather door panels), but I assume you mean the one with partial aluminum handle with Porsche embossed on the handle. The only one of those I have is in dark wood and shows some wear. The black leather one is a new car take off.
I have a couple of extra factory chrome wheels, but the only single I have in silver is a rear. I do have a set of silver twists, but can't split the set.
ever get that list of parts? although if you're located in lawrenceville, then youre only like 30min away from me
mind if i stop by the "store" to do some shopping?
Robert
I haven't mde it home vefore 8 this week, so tomorrow is the night I will get it done, but sure come on by. Bring a truck and you can take the lot or not. Just off Hwy 20 about halfway between I-85 and 316
How much for the silver twists? I prefer those to chrome. Are they 18's? Regarding floor mats, I need black. Got 'em? Give me some prices and your basement might be a little less cluttered.

Possibly interested in a pre-02 lower center console also
I haven't run across any savannah beige shifter, but i have a lit colored wood shifter with aluminum shift patter top and colored crest. It is really nice. I used the bottom boot and thick aluminum surround on a CF shifter for my Boxster, then like a dummy let it go with the car. I have some plain shif boots it can go on. Right now I have it on an agla boot that I tried to build for my 968, but it didn't work out likje I planned. It is brand new, nary a scratch and one of the best looking ***** I've seen, especially for beige interior. I have a natural leathr horsheshoe upper console that matches it, or so it appears
Chrome lug nuts 100 bucks, thats what I paid not counting a considerable shipping charge, as they are really heavy. I will let you have the used Bird console for 100 as well. It doesn;t have all the hardware, but Bird will send it and iinstallation instructions for no charge. he is a stand up guy. Check with him first. He advertises in panorama and excellence. The other one is brand new, in the box and I paid the going rate 500 buck with the cup holder option. If you want that one, I will sell it and knck off the shipping charges, only because its been in my closet for over a year and I haven't put it on. Just no time and I can't move everything to where we're going
I have 2 sets of standard polished tips. Both sets look OK but not perfect. My intend was to polish them with mothers and a dremel or electric drill, but never got around to it. I do have a set of spacers but I have sort of promised them to another guy oin the bioard. If he decides he doesn't want them, I will let you know,
I ran across brand new in box GT3 console delete in black and a new in dash cupholder. I had forgotten they were down there. Anyone have the console delete option. I eould like to see wat it looks like installed, other than the picture PCNA poosts everywhere
I will get pics posted on the following link ASAP.They will be in an album entitled parts on page 2 of the website

do you happen to have any alum look or arctic silver interior parts?? i want the upper center console, and i want a alum horse show around the shifter....
What type, do you mean oddments compartment? There are actually differnt shapes depending on how you have everything arranged. I think I have several. I will send you all I have and you can send the ones you dont need back. No charge, you just pay the freight
No sorry I don't have any beige parts. I started out just buying parts for my 996, then we ended up with a boxster, and I already had the 968. It wasn't long until I had so much stuff I had to agree with my wife to start selling on ebay. I played the game for a few months, buying and selling. It became such a hassle I just quit. Most of the things I bought, I tried to ensure I could use it someday, in case I couldn't sell it. 996 has black int, boxster had bxt red, 968 has cashmenre beige. So all the beige parts I have are 968 related
yes I have 2 early ones, but they are the dreaded dark gray, light black or whatever you call it. They are only good for painting, which was my intent. If you want one to paint, I will sell it cheap, or you can just pay what it is worth to you. I'm going to keep one, just in case mine gets damaged. I will have Eric make it pretty
I do have quite a few arctic silver parts, even some billet small parts. I don't have the horshoe around the shifter. As far as I know you have to buy the whole shebang. shift ****, boot, and the horshoe all as one.
I have all the pictures, but alas they wouldn't fit on my piddly website. I am trying to set up space on MSN for the pictures and I'm waiting on the passport registration confirmation. It is probably going to be next week, since I will be out of town this weekend. Sorry it's taking so long. I had bad week. got sideswiped by an 18 wheeler on I 85 going to work WEdnesday. The guy didn't stop. Luckily a good citizen called it in and the cop had the trucking company's name and liscense number when he got there. They had an adjuster at my house at 6pm that night. I was amazed how quick they jumped on it. BTW, not my 996. My wife and I were riding in together in Infiniti. They will probably want to total it on me. Quarter panel is going to have to be cut out and welded back in and it's a 95 Q45. The car is like new, but worth nothing. Anyone know a strategy to force them to fix it, short of claiming I was hurt, which is my dad's advice, but I wouldn't do that. I really believe if I did, someday I would really get hurt, and get nothing.
The bin I want is the oddments bin. In my car (99 996) the tape holder I want to replace is the top unit of the bottom stack. The bottom stack I am describing rises from the center of the floor and meets the dash. In that stack, I have the digital audio option, so it occupies the bottom space (the narrower of the two). Then above that is the tape holder I want to replace. Above that, in the actual dash, is the temp controls and the radio.
your PM box is full and I really want some centre caps. Plse clear your box immediately! Seems like you atre a popular bloke at the moment.
PS sorry to hear about your mother
I owe everyone an apology. I was trying to clean out my basement and opened this thread. I had a lot of work to do to get it ready and running back and forth from Atlanta to knoxville due to my moms chemo treatments. i should never have started the sales with so much going on. I then decided to have aheart attack and as a result I haven't read email or rennlist for aq month. I found out last night that some of you had sent paypal payments for some stuff. I only knew about one guy, but there were actually quite a few. My wife read my email and let me know. I will go ahead and send everyone a refund including the paypal fees, or will send you the items as soon as I am able to go through the stuff. I won't be able to handle, ship, etc, any heavy items for several weeks, so I would prefer to send you refunds for those type items and it would be easier for me to refund everything. Please let me know. My Rennlist box is full so email me at
