Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I use a bra on the front of my car down here in Texas (where highway cleaning is not in the budget).

I just want something water/dirt/mud proof to keep the original floor mats clean :-) For PSE I am afraid it's too loud, Oops.

Bras are a personal choice, just like changing your underwear on a daily basis.

Not flaming you, just giving my opinion on using bras
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi All,
Here are some pics of my car, I am a newbie..., sorry for the delay, took longer to register the car
While waiting I add few cosmetic & easy mods: cluster rings, clear front carpet, clear sidemarkers. I will definitely need some help for more mods from this group of P-car experts. I really love this car heh heh. Thanks all,
Cheers,
-Bao.

congrats and welcome to the 'list! Beautiful Pcar! What kind of floor mats are those? What are they made of? May I suggest installing the PSE...you won't regret it.
Really nice looking cabby...welcome aboard..we'll be happy to help you spend your $. I would lose the "bra" right away though...It will destroy the paint.
Thanks all for your warm welcome... I am very happy to finally join the club and it's time to learn more about these amazing cars.
Pongabaz, regarding those mats, I got them from Autoanything.com and I think they are called "Invisible floor mats". They are made from medium thick rubber'ish, flexible material. They cost around $35 a pair and fit very nicely. The quality is not bad. I just want something water/dirt/mud proof to keep the original floor mats clean :-) For PSE I am afraid it's too loud, Oops. With stock cans, I already think that they sound strong, I guess comparing to my E39, it's loud. I need to get some "use-to" first, but thanks for the recommendation. I will start saving $$$ for more Mods :-)
wross996tt, thanks for the tip on the front cover... I put it on for the long drive back from LA to the Bay Area and it did help with the bugs and debris from the road. But since then I am just lazy to take it out since it took me some time to put it on :-) It wasn't easy to close the trunk lid. So far I have not been driving much yet due to registration delay and bad weather. I will take it out on my next outing.
CTO3911, for posting pics, I follow gota911 instructions (thanks gota911) but you need to make sure to resize your pics if they are more than 1MB. After that it's very easily to upload them to your post.
I use a bra on the front of my car down here in Texas (where highway cleaning is not in the budget). I have been hit "twice" in the lower portion of my spoiler (LARGE metal objects) where I did get a little damage, but it would have been worse if the bra hadn't absorbed the contact (it tore the bra). I think I would rather spend $110 for a new bra versus $700 for a clear bra and repair and repaint to my aero front. Not flaming you, just giving my opinion on using bras
.
-BTW, if you have a Colgan bra, they fit very well and don't flop around at speed.
I guess there are always those stories, but for the majority of the time...the bra will make the paint "age" differently than the rest of the car. If any moisture gets under the bra you compound the problem and of course there will be abrasion due to contact of the bra on the paint. Plus they look FUGLY! IMHO! I'd rather repaint the front end now and then.
My car never gets wet (unless I'm washing it), it lives under a cover when outside and is always garaged. If you lived in Texas you would use a bra also (everything is bigger in Texas and so are the objects that hit your car). I've already gone through one repaint and coming close to a second one. It's not on the car all of the time, just on the days when I get that feeling that I'm going to get hit by something. So far, I'm two for two.
