Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

24 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 4Original post

Hi guys! Maybe we can all meet up once I get my 996. I am in the process of selling my 2001 BMW 540i and hopefully getting into a C4. I have been lurking around and good to see some forum members in my neck of the woods. I live in South Pasadena. I am supposed to get into a friend's 2000 C4. Comes with Miglia exhaust, full suspension, Sport Design wheels, silver on black and I think it has sports seats too. I am a porsche newbie...I guess premie since I do not even have the car yet. But I hope to learn alot. If anyone wants or knows someone looking for a BMW E39 540i please let me know. The sooner I can get outta my bimmer...the sooner I can get into the 996.

POST 5Original post

AsianImage - how many miles on the 540 and what are you asking? The lease is up on my wife's BMW in March and we need to start looking for a new car. And yes, I'm definitely up for a meeting with people in our neck of the woods.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Kilrgt. I really like how you set up your car, it's not overdone and it's just right on all the details. I see on your description that your car is for sale, why would you still want the double oval exhaust tips??

POST 15Original post
