Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There are three of these studs in the catalytic section that bolts on to the headers. The studs are pressed in. What's the part number at Porsche of even better, where can I find this? I already tried NAPA and Autozone and they do not have it. I looked on Mcmaster-carr's site and i am not sure they have the right strength stud that is required. Thanks! http://www.flickr.com/photos/jyoteen/8479834937/

POST 2Original post

I'm sorry to state the obvious, but did you call Pelican Parts?

POST 3Original post

No suck luck finding on my part. I drilled out entirely. *Edit* PET seems to indicate P/N#: 900 074 287 02, although like you said, mine were pressed in.

POST 4Original post

Thats because they dont offer the replacement stud and expect you to replace it with the offered bolt/nut set. They give you the size which is M8 x 35. Common anywhere. I assume you mean #37 in the diagram.

Yep. #37. I found that bolt as a part but if that's the superseding part, then I can just do a standard bolt instead of the Porsche one. I need to measure the bolt segments with a micrometer because McMaster Carr has something like that but not grade 8 and the press in section int the right size.
