This is not a probability of success.

And yes I'm still sore from you trying to tell me that using gears to slow down "just as you would on a motorcycle" is good practice.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need a new throttle pedal for my 1999 C2 and was wondering if this is the correct pedal for non e-gas cars? http://www.ebay.com/itm/99-PORSCHE-9...94f8d0&vxp=mtr

POST 2Original post

Remove the one you are changing and see are the part numbers the same. If so buy it.

POST 3Original post

better yet, go to the Porsche Parts catalog (PET) here: http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf...SA_KATALOG.pdf And scrutinize section 7 - hand controls and pedals and figure out *exactly* what you need. Oh yes, and don't take technical advice from the gentleman above.

I didn't think that my answer was very technical Jasper. Unless I have upset you by a post in the past. I sincerly hope not. At least you referred to me as a 'gentleman' so it can't be that bad lol. Not so confused after finding this posting by you to me Jasper. Shut up Hurdi. The man says the IMS failed, and there's good reason to believe he is correct. Why the hell would you call him a liar when you don't have the sense even to realize your car looks crap with badges and stickers all over it. Do you even know what the IMS Bearing does? And yes I'm still sore from you trying to tell me that using gears to slow down "just as you would on a motorcycle" is good practice. It is my humble opinion that you have about as much mechanical sense as does my 90 year old mother in law. It's not like it doesn't happen bud. Rant off ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Tad touchy arn't we Jasper? Slow down there little buddy before you do yourself a mischief.

Didn't think of this, thanks! Since I already have my carpet removed I can probably spot the part # from the side.
