Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Was it silver with two little track stickers on the quarter panel windows? May have been my wife driving my car
edit: Yep. It was the wife. Small world eh?
That was the one!! Nice Recaro seats as well - very nice!! Always good to connect with other Austinites in the P-car club. You guys should come to the next Hill Country PCA happy hour.
Amazing. I have my Turbo cab in Austin this week and saw that red wide body ahead of me today. Tried to catch up for a good look but got caught at a light.
Sweet ride.
Dotframe, thanks for playing along. My girlfriend looks hot in the 4S also. However, last time she took it out with her friend she was doing burnouts!
Did you get a crack at the $500 turbo twists in the parts forum? Stay sharp pal...
Dotframe, the picture you posted confirms that was the C4S I saw yesterday
I have to admit I felt like Chevy Chase in Vacation when Christie Brinkley pulls up in the 308, less the faux wood paneling.
Kudos to you, and for being a good sport in this!
No way Mickey! No proof needed nor wanted. We are all living vicariously through this thread. Great looking car. Great looking wife. Great looking wife who lets you get a great looking car. I have already imagined that she loves to sit around and watch me drink beer while rubbing my feet.
Do not even try to p#ss on our parade!
Oh, and Dotframe, I'll give you a heads up when my wife takes my car out on RR620, in the spirit of reciprocity. As soon as she learns how to drive a 915 transmission...
quote porsche87: "Big thumbs up for your wife. Does she have any mods?"
Well JR I thought I would confirm with the original owner who claims they are OEM. Either way i'm sure Dotframe needed no PPI needed to get this one, although it may have been a good idea just for fun.
My wife more or less refuses to drive any of "my" cars.
In all honesty, I wish she'd put the top down and take the Porsche for a drive on her own sometimes just to clear her mind. It can be very therapeutic.
She drives a stick without a problem (when we met years ago she was driving a manual) and she knows I have no problem with her driving any of them. Outside of nicely reminding her to stay away from curbs because the ground clearance on all of our cars is pretty low (especially compared to the Minivan), I've never shown any angst over her taking them -- even after she (ignored/forgot my reminder and) partially removed the Volvo's front bumper when it got caught on a concrete parking stop while she was backing out of a parking space. Yeah, good times.
Btw, this is a great thread. lol
