Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that report identifying a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'hoist' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'hoist' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean car was' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Not much options though aside from the Sport Techno wheels, heated seats, carbon fiber shifter and a "badly" installed CD changer.

The day before the car was delivered I shattered my ankle cleaning the garage for the car (a ladder thing) and was unable to drive the car.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It's a 2003 Black C4S with only $5k miles and one owner! Not much options though aside from the Sport Techno wheels, heated seats, carbon fiber shifter and a "badly" installed CD changer.
fairly rare C2S (wide body C2)
but I agree, thats a lot of moolah fer it!
I just laughed because the milage was about the same as Phils old car. BTW where is Phils old car.....in therapy?
Linky works for me!
1) Phil bought a beautiful C4S, never drove it
2) After several years Phil sold said C4S ...with a few thousand miles on it..
3) Buyer has not our much if any miles on it as far as I know...
4) Phil takes allot of crap over never driving his car!
Kyle,
Just to add
Phil is
Phil G.
see post #2 in this thread.
Last Fall, he sold his car to Hugh (
Victorltd
post #11 in this thread), who has stated that he has driven it all of 270 miles since August.
That poor is never going to get any exercise!
OK, exactly who gave Phil crap???? Them's fightin' words!!!
That person should be banned for life and ........ oh, wait....... hunmm, I seem to recall a few hundred post of mine that..... well, never mind....... no need for details....... uhmmm.... we'll just let bygones be bygones!
Besides ..... therapy is good for Phil!
Any chance we could sneak a defective toyota gas pedal into his car? I hear Porsche bought the defective accelerator pedals mechanisms from Toyota and is selling them with a guaranty to increase fun on the hwy.
since this thread is a Part Deux of the "un-driven" i am gussing any of the cars here would donate the gas pedal due to the owner not knowing what it was for anyhoe

For those that need a refresher. Phil sold the car to Hugh (me) with 3490 miles on it. The day before the car was delivered I shattered my ankle cleaning the garage for the car (a ladder thing) and was unable to drive the car. I got my cast of in December, drove the car twice and put it in storage. I went to visit the car two weeks ago and noticed a couple of drops of oil under the engine. I took it into Lavery Porsche where it received a new RMS. The car was ten days out of warranty but the repair was covered anyway. Marc Alpern at Lavery was super good to me. He did not sell me the car, but treated me like I had just bought a 997 Turbo 6 minutes ago. My five year old keeps telling people that I got a Ferrari and when I tell him it's not, he responds I don't care it looks like one to me. Anyhow, while at the dealership the guys in the service department kept telling me how ridiculously clean the car was. That was both before and after it was the hoist. The car still smells new and it's over 6 years old. The tires still have the little rubber strands coming out of side walls from the mold. It will be my daily driver unless there is a chance of wind, rain, snow, dust, rocks, dirt, or pot holes on our Michigan roads. That is the story of Phil's car.
OMG, Phil's car has RMS at less than 5K miles, unbelievable... I am afraid that mine will experience this issue as well when I get back to Dallas in the summer after 6 months sitting in the garage while I am away due to a new job out of state. Usually I take it out every few days. Oh well, there is nothing I can do now, just pray
