Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Long story short. I've misplaced the carpet covered panel from the bottom of the luggage compartment of my '03 C4 cab. Anyone have an idea what the official name and or part # is and where I could find one? It drives me nuts every time I open the trunk!
Thanks for easing my pain.
Is this it?

EDIT: Just read the description. This particular one won't fit a C4, but maybe it will be a good starting point for the search... GL.
No i think he is talking about the Shelf/Divider in the Trunk... Contact

they can Order one for you or you can try Ebay
C4, C4S and Turbo's have a Shelf/Divider in the Front Trunk
go to your loca GOODl boom box car stereo installer. They should have it hanging on the wall on a roll. Buy a pc and cut it to fit. Unless your HAVE to have OE.
Zookie is correct. I'm refering to the shelf/divider that separates the trunk from the spare in the C4. I'll try one of the "Sun" dealers but I was hoping not to take it in the tail on this transaction.
For anyone who may benefit from my pain:
996 C4 "spare tire cover" Part #: 996-551-351-04-A31 $61.66 plus shipping ($11.60) from Sunset Porsche.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
You let a lousy dealer work on the car and lose the panel (along with your favorite golf jacket). Then you neglect to open the trunk until the following Spring. At this point the lousy dealer laughs at you when you tell them they lost your stuff. At least, that's how I did it!
