i just bought a new handbrake and shifter for my 996 TT and i'ld like to know where i can find the instructions to remove the center console and to adjust the handbrake .

Nico, here is a link the B&M Short Shifter installation instructions, which shows how to remove the shoft **** and the rear center console. It is actually less complicated than it looks the first time you read the instructions. BTW - do you currently have a short shifter on your car? If not, I HIGHLY recommed the B&M SSK. It will give you 35% shorter throws (front to back) and is more like a rifle-bolt feel. You can get it from Eric at Bumperplugs.com for $199. B&M Short Shifter Instructions I do not have a DYI for replacing the hand brake, but maybe someone else can help with that part.
