Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just registered the C4S in Colorado yesterday, and went to the DMV to get my license plates. According to the state of Colorado tax assessor, my vehicle is worth roughly $67K. Who knew? I'd be willing to sell it for an even $60K and make somebody a great deal!! Any takers???

POST 2Original post

how many miles 15 ? may be they think it is a 'new old stock' and they add some vintage value LOL

POST 3Original post

That is why in TX we pay by weight of the vehicle not value. I think my tags will run around $60.00 plus a vechilce inspection of $40.

POST 4Original post

if you want some fun you can try texas valuation tool online http://www.txdmv.gov/vehicles/titles...tive_value.htm enter your VIN and bingo it gives you the car value who needs KBB after that

the way it should be done!!! unfortunately I live in CA

POST 6Original post

I agree on weight instead of value. What requires more road space and generates more wear on road surfaces - a Hummer or a 911?

POST 7Original post

Trucks in Colorado get hit with a weight penalty on top of very high registration values. I can testify that none of the insanely high registration dollars are used to maintain the roads. I may actually trade my S4 for an SUV of some sort for the extra ground clearance on a day to day basis.

POST 8Original post

I think that "value" is its MSRP new, I think. It is hard to figure. I just registered mine and the plates were 257.

No, MSRP was significantly higher than that for the C4S. They use some kind of secret formula to determine value based on original MSRP and age of the vehicle.
