I originally installed the ROW 030 ON MY 20002 996 C-2 I found it pretty good on the track but harsh on the street this past summer I replaced it with the x-74 which I bought from Carnewal.I feel it is better in all respects, on the track it seems to have at least as much grip probably more and it isn't as firm which I know seems contradictory but that is the way it feels.

That's the big reason I was looking for a test drive.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm trying to decide on X74 vs. M030 on my 02 C4 Cab and would like to test drive both setups. I've driven the M030 (thanks Roy) and just need to find an X74 car to help complete my descision.
I've driven the ROW sport suspension (ROW M030) and have a good feel for what it is about. I'm looking for a car with the 30mm lowering kit (x74). Thanks.

On the street the x-74 it not as harsh as the 030. I would highly recommend the x-74 over the 030 .Lastly the car is about an inch lower on the x-74 and in my mind the car is more attractive.cheers
Thanks for the first-hand report. I've heard several people say that that the X74 seems more compliant that the 030 or in some cases even the stock suspension. My ride in the ROW M030 left me feeling that it wasn't much worse than the stock suspension as far as ride comfort, but was a significant upgrade in the handling. If the X74 were somehow better comfort wise than the M030, there would be no question on which way to go since the X74 is hands down the better handler.
Thanks again.
I have the USM030 (factory installed) and ordered the X74 from Carnewal. I will be getting it installed early next week and taking it to the track April 2-3. I'll post here with pics and driving impressions. If you do a search on "X74" you'll find some good threads.
Thanks - I'll be interested to hear your your comparison of the two setups.
I've searched for and read all of the threads on X74. The problem is that there is a wide range of opinions on how the suspension compares to stock and ROW M030. That's the big reason I was looking for a test drive. Short of that, anybody who has already driven both is my best bet - I'll look forward to your results.
